Celebrating New Life!

I booked a maternity session with this couple for an evening on the beach in mid-March.  Despite the sciatica pain mom was feeling from baby pressing on her nerves, we had an amazing photo shoot and the images tell quite a story of love and anticipation.  At ease with each other and their surroundings this couple made my job really fun!

A month and a half later, there I was meeting their flawless newborn son in their home.  What a wonderful gift for these amazing parents.  Swaddled and snug and in all his newborn glory, baby was calm and beautiful.

My Maternity and Newborn package includes two separate sessions, styling advice, use of hand-knit blankets, diaper covers, hats and baskets.  You will also receive a link to your  lightly retouched viewing album within ten days of each session.  I would love to help you tell your story of expectations and arrival with my Celebrating New Life Package.  Please contact me for further information and pricing.

Family photos in full swing!

It is the busy season for family photos.  Don’t forget these tips to highlight the beauty of your family without the distractions of clothing.  Wear bold solid colors near the face to lessen distraction.  Coordinate the colors in your outfits without matching exact clothing.  Let kids be kids and try not to say “no” too many times on photo day.  The more stress you feel and project onto the kids, the less-likely they will want to relax for the camera.  Celebrate your family and the love you share.  Photos should be fun and stress-free, not feel like an obligation.  Hope to see some of your lovely families soon!
